Muse Development is a design-focused, architect-led practice founded in 2015 by Arman Muse and Stephen Muse, FAIA.
Our work focuses on the respectful renovation of older homes across the Washington, DC region — buildings that might otherwise face speculative demolition.
Arman Muse
Arman received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science in Engineering from Kettering University. Following employment with the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI, he returned to Washington, DC to begin his development career.
Stephen Muse, FAIA
Stephen received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Maryland and a Master of Architecture from Cornell University. In addition to his involvement with Muse Development, Stephen is the Senior Principal of Muse Architects, a firm that has received more than one hundred and sixty design awards, primarily for its residential work.
